The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is a cheaper variant of the Galaxy A20 5G, targeted to cost-sensitive markets such as Bangladesh. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, the phone also has respectable specifications in terms of battery life and cameras.
The phone comes with a 6.3-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, an 8MP front camera, 12MP+5 MP dual rear camera setup and has a 4500 mAh battery that can last up to 18 hours in PPTTY mode or 15 hours on average use.
Samsung has recently launched a cheaper variant of the Galaxy A20 5G in Vietnam that costs around VND 90 million ($4,931) and which will be followed by a similar budget model in Bangladesh.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is expected to launch locally soon, but whether it will hit the market in time for Valentines’ Day remains unclear.
The new phone will be available in White and Black colors, with both featuring “Galaxy A” branding on the side.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G features a Snapdragon 675 SoC, a dual camera setup with a 12MP + 5MP sensor setup at back and an 8MP F/1.9 front camera. It also has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, while the battery capacity is 4500 mAh. The device supports 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, Face Unlock and more. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience 9.0 on top of it.
